C-PACE is an innovative program that provides commercial property owners with low-cost financing for up to 100 percent of the capital required to complete substantial energy improvement projects. C-PACE offers contractors, energy engineers, and project developers a powerful way to get projects funded and to create new sales opportunities. Because C-PACE provides long-term financing that stays with the property, contractors can implement large-scale, comprehensive upgrades that have longer payback periods instead of relying on installing temporary measures that don't resolve underlying problems. 

Getting started

Professional services firms including contractors, installers, engineers and project developers are encouraged to register with IECA PACE and start marketing C-PACE to their customers. IECA, with team members Slipstream and Abacus Property Solutions, will soon offer training at no charge to contractors interested in participating. Contractors and allied professionals play a vital role in helping the building owner develop the C-PACE scope of work and collaborate with the Program Administrator and Capital Provider to apply for C-PACE Financing and perform necessary steps to obtain project approval.
